Fun Christmas Tree U-Cut Farms in Vancouver

There is something about a fresh cut Christmas tree that fills your home with all the holiday feels and warmth. They are also more environmentally friendly than plastic ones as they absorb CO2 and can be taken to a tree cutter to be recycled into mulch when the Christmas season is over.

It’s also all about the holiday experience. Going out to a special Christmas tree farm to cut your own tree can be a great family experience. It helps kick off the Christmas decorating and creates memories to cherish over time.

We’ve listed a few fun Christmas Tree locations in the Vancouver area to choose from:

Frosty’s Family Christmas Tree Farm

One of our family’s favourites over the past few years! Frosty’s Family Christmas Tree Farm is located in the country side of Langley. Offering acres of trees to choose from including Douglas Fir, Grand Fir, Norway Spruce, Noble and Fraser Fir and offers both U-Cut and Farm Fresh Cut Trees. After choosing your perfect Christmas Tree you will receive a complimentary Candy Cane which you can enjoy by their warm bonfire listening to cheerful Christmas carols. They will be opening November 24th through the Christmas season.

Dogwood Christmas Tree Farm

The Dogwood Christmas Tree Farm, located in Fort Langley, opens November 24th and offers both U-Cut and pre-cut tress. Situated on a 18 acre farm, they specialize in Douglas Fir, Grand Fir, Noble, and Fraser Fir. They offer hot chocolate and other holiday treats a the Santa's Snack Shack. Candy canes and Christmas carols are complimentary.

Z & Z Christmas Trees

Opening December 1st and located in Richmond, Z&Z Christmas Tree Farm offers both U-Cut and pre-cut Christmas Trees. There is a festive ‘Santa’s walk’ which is a decorated area of Christmas trees, Christmas scenes and Christmas carols playing. Here you may take memorable family photos, have a warm apple cider, or warm yourselves by the fire.

Aunt Leah’s Christmas Trees

While they aren’t a U-Cut Christmas Tree Farm, Aunt Leah’s Christmas Trees has been raising money for over 20 years to fund programs that help prevent children in foster care from becoming homeless, and young mothers from losing custody of their children. We love companies that give back to the community and help support women and children in need. Their Tree Dealers give them the best of their product, which is sourced locally from around BC and the Pacific Northwest. They have 5 locations throughout Greater Vancouver and will be open from November 23rd, 2018 to December 23rd, 2018 or order your Christmas tree online!
